Originally founded as First Nighter in 1901, our name was changed in 1992 to Fabian Couture Group International. Fabian Couture Group Int'l has been and continues to be solely dedicated to formalwear. FCGI remains content to be a leader within the formalwear industry in the USA as well as Canada. Our philosophy is to manufacture garments of superb quality, innovative designs and luxurious fabrications, supported by exceptional customer service.

Until now the selection of formalwear available was often limited to very basic styles and fabrications. The most significant designer collection in our history, featured high fashion coats by Fumagalli's. Recently, FCGI has opted to lead the market more aggressively. In 1999, we developed a partnership with Loro Piana, the prestigious Italian fabric mill. The objective was to create a garment with an elegant drape and luxurious feel for rental. Never in the history of formalwear, has such a luxurious fabric been available for rental. Complimenting the already successful collection, FCGI partnered with LUBIAM another fine Italian label recognized throughout the world. FCGI then embarked on a fresh new marketing campaign to convey this message to the consumer. The campaign is memorable for it's significant tag-line "The Most Luxurious Formalwear Anywear"

Since then, FCGI has added to it's product offerings, a formalwear collection by the quintessential all American designer Geoffrey Beene. Now with a balanced mix of recognized brands, FCGI is able to offer an assortment of product targeted to specific customers in clearly differentiated retail markets.
